Terms of Use

These terms apply to the website FantasticStoryTeller and, above all, to the stories you send us through the form and the Story Builder. Watching our films here is free and needs no account. Last updated: 4 September 2026.

1. Who we are

The site is operated by Manuel Gasteiger, [postcode and city], [country]. Full details are in the Legal notice.

2. Who may send stories

Only adults may send stories. If the story comes from a child, a parent or guardian sends it on the child’s behalf and confirms this by ticking the box in the form. Children must not send stories on their own.

3. What happens to a story you send

By sending a story, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and perpetual licence to use it: to adapt and shorten it, write a screenplay from it, animate it with our puppet characters, translate it (into English, Russian, German and mixed-language learning versions), add voices and music, and publish the result on this website, on our YouTube channel and on other video platforms, including in trailers, thumbnails and short clips.

We may also decide not to use a story at all. There is no payment, and we are under no obligation to produce a film.

The child remains the author of the idea. If you gave a first name and age, we credit the child that way in the film and on this site. If you left them blank, the story is credited anonymously.

You can withdraw your consent for future use at any time by email. Films that are already published may stay online, but on request we remove the child’s name from this site and, where possible, from the video description.

4. Your promises

When you send a story, you confirm that:

5. Moderation

We read every idea, but we may decline, shorten or delete any submission without giving reasons, and we remove spam.

6. Our content

The films, characters, artwork, texts and the Story Builder are protected by copyright. You may watch them and share links to them. You may not re-upload, sell or create derivative works from them without our written permission. Personal, non-commercial use, such as showing a film in a kindergarten, is fine and very welcome.

7. Availability and liability

This is a free project. We do not guarantee that the site is always available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

8. Applicable law

The law of [country] applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live are not affected. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
