How a story becomes a film

Everything on this channel is made with our own little story machine. Here is the whole journey — from a bedtime idea to a finished film.

🍿 The two-minute tour

1. A child tells a story
Most of our tales start as bedtime stories invented by a small storyteller. A few sentences are enough — who is in it, and what happens.
2. We write it down as a storybook
The story is written in a special storybook language: every sentence says who speaks, how they feel, and what happens on stage.
3. The puppets rehearse
Our drawn puppet characters — dragons, puppies, queens — get their poses, walks and dances from the storybook, like a real puppet theatre.
4. Voices and music
The characters get gentle voices in English and Russian, plus music and sound effects. Mouths move to match every word.
5. The film premieres
The finished story is rendered as a film and published in three versions: English, Russian, and the bilingual Learn version.
